I have specialized as a business lawyer for over 30 years, counseling companies, entrepreneurs, and non-profits in their strategic transactions and operational matters. I advise owners and managers of privately-held and public companies on structuring and negotiating a wide range of business deals, including merger, acquisition, joint venture, financing, real estate, leasing, reorganization, and other complex transactions. Large-firm training and years of practice as a partner have given me the expertise and perspective to help clients navigate highly complex and often emotionally challenging transactions. By nature, I am a collaborative problem solver informed by substantial experience. Negotiating hundreds of major transactions to closing has taught me that deals get done by working creatively to solve the other side’s problems. Outside of my professional practice, I serve as a board member of the Schuylkill Navy, the nation’s oldest amateur athletic association, and the historic Vesper Boat Club, where I am a competitive rower.
